The enduring charm of classic yachting meets the warm hospitality of Villa d’Este
On Saturday, 13 September 2025, Villa d’Este hosts a new edition of “Villa d’Este Style – Vintage Yachting”, a unique event celebrating the art of classic boating. Organised in collaboration with ASDEC and the Museo della Barca Lariana, the gathering brings together historic vessels and passionate owners to honour nautical heritage at its finest, along the shores of Lake Como.
The villa’s gardens will showcase some of the most iconic masterpieces in nautical design, including:
DULCINEA – Lancia Inglesina. Shipyard: Luigi Taroni, 1920
FORTUNATO – Taroni, 1923
GLAUCO – Eugenio Vidoli, Stresa, 1933
LAURA I – Abbate Shipyard, 1952

An open-air exhibition that traces the history and beauty of vintage boats. Throughout the day, a panel of experts will award the most distinguished vessels, while guests will have the opportunity to enjoy sailing moments and discover the captivating stories tied to the nautical traditions of Lake Como.
The event fee is €150 per person and includes a welcome cocktail, lunch at the Grill Restaurant, boat visits, awards ceremony, and the chance to sail (subject to weather conditions). Children under 12 benefit from a 50% discount.
