Villa d’Este and Lake Como will celebrate once again the highest level hospitality and the classic yachting tradition in an exclusive rendez-vous dedicated to vintage wooden boats.
One of the most prestigious events dedicated to the fascinating world of vintage and classic boats, where style, elegance and tradition meet.
After the successful third edition of 2022, “Villa d’Este Style – Vintage Yachting” will return in 2023 to celebrate the best products of the historic wooden boat tradition, uniting savoir faire and lifestyle during a unique event. A strong cultural aspect will also be present, thanks to the cooperation with ASDEC (Associazione Scafi d’Epoca e Classici – Registro Storico Nautico), Italy’s historic Register whose aim is to preserve and pass the interest for this kind of boats to the next generations.
Villa d’Este itself owns the “Vaporina Cranchi” (a typical wooden boat dated 1960), the “Abbate Villa d’Este Super” (dated 1961), and a “Lucia” (the Lake Como traditional boat dated 1971, built by “Cantiere Ernesto Riva” in Laglio). These unique and special boats are also included in the ASDEC Nautical Historical Register.
Villa d’Este Style – Vintage Yachting is an unmissable event which will allow you to live a unique experience, by experiencing the magic Villa d’Este atmosphere and that of those classic wooden runabouts, true nautic masterpieces of the 20th Century. Scheduled just a few days before the start of the famous Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este, probably the world’s most exclusive vintage car Concours, “Villa d’Este Style – Vintage Yachting” will create the perfect conditions for you to enjoy both classic boats and cars, should you decide to extend your stay for a few days on Lake Como.
