On the 4th of July, for US Independence Day, the Hotel Villa d’Este will take the guests on a journey of beauty, offering a breathtaking aperitif on the Platani terrace, followed by a gala dinner by Executive Chef Michele Zambanini in the evocative setting of the Mosaic.
Chilean Sea Bass, bellini ceviche, and spicy cucumber, the renowned ‘white fish’ from an archipelago of islands near the South Pole, will be followed by Alaskan Crab Tortelli, lemongrass, and kale chips, and North Carolina Scallops, clam chowder, the famous American clam chowder typical of New England and San Francisco. The dinner will end with a Manjari 68% Mousse, Bourbon, and Apricot.
The extraordinary evening will be even more glamorous thanks to immersive entertainment themed around the 1920s, Art Deco and the Great Gatsby, which will continue with the atmospheric piano bar at Bar Canova.
Tickets cost 650 euro per person. A non-refundable 100% deposit is required upon booking.
If the weather is bad, the event will be moved inside the halls of Villa d’Este.
