For those looking to enjoy an authentic and romantic Italian experience, Villa d’Este can organise an 8-hour day tour onboard a Vespa 125, starting in the hotel’s courtyard. Guests can enjoy different itineraries such one taking in Bellagio, Varenna and Castello di Vezio or to Lenno and Tremezzo, known as one of the most scenic driving routes around Lake Como.
During the latter, guests may choose to visit Villa Balbaniello’s gardens with exclusive entrance tickets provided by Villa d’Este (please note Villa Balbaniello is closed on Monday & Wednesday). After lunch in a nearby restaurant, guests can drive to Tremezzo, soaking up the amazing views along the way, and enjoy a walking tour of the area before heading back to Villa d’Este.
Guests may prefer to embark on a half day experience driving to Tremezzo and taking part in a walking tour through the village. The Villa d’Este team are at guests’ disposal to assist with an itinerary best suited to their preferences.
